Globalization

Globalization is when countries are connected in an economical, cultural and social level. Many things such as technologies and new means of transportation have encouraged globalization today.

Pros


  • Globalization has increased trade.

  • It has made some people wealthier.

  • It has allowed us to lead a more diverse lifestyle.

  • Vigourous trade made poeple spend more money and have better living standards.

  • Globalization has also resulted in a growth in international trase.

  • Lead to understanding of other cultures around the world.

  • Allowed the spread of democracy.

  • Lower prices

  • More efficient allocation of resources.

Cons



  • The developping countries has suffered from this globalization.

  • There is more chances for poeple to lose their jobs in both the developed and developping countries.

  • National identities annd culture are threatened because they lix with other cultures;

  • Big companies are becoming more powerful than democratically elected governments and they put their needs before the communities' and the costumors'.

  • The environment is suffering from the big industries built.

  • Diseases spread easily (HIV, SARS, H1N1)
