Planning

For my research I plan to use either .org, .edu, or .gov websites because I know that the information listed in these kinds of sites are relieable. But before arriving here I will start by using wikipedia and the websites listed as their source. I will try to find historians point of views so I can analyze it to make my own desition because a part of my questions relies on my point of view. To find extra information I will use the advanced Google search because it is very precise and leaves out any useless information. I think that I would also like to search for powerpoint because I find them very helpful in class and think they will benifit me alot. Finally I will also go to the library to try and find books and encycopedias (ie Britannica) on my topic because I know the information is reliable and that it had gone through my reviewing steps before being published.

Soldier's Letter

Dear Mom and Dad,

I know I havent written for a while but we had to change camps because the Germans had invaded our trench. Do not worry I am not injured pysically but the mental pain is unsustainble. Though I have made many friends which I am sure will be my friends for life. But seeing them die one by one and havong death and rotting bodies all around is horrible and depressing. However we know it is an honor and a priviledge to fight for our country and protect its interest. There is some good news I 'd like to report our tanks will be arriving soon so I will help out the captain in managing and firing from it. However there may have some delay because of the rain which it seems will never stop. I miss home and all it has you guys and my brothers and sisters. I especially miss the food because here it is scarce and usually filthy from the rats that have infested our trench but the worst part about the trench is trench foor which many of my fellow patriots suffer from. Another seemingly minor issue but takes a huge toll in our life is the lice e cannot keep from scratching and theyy seem to multiply. Luckily I have recently heard that our ennemies are suffering from influenza which have made them weak so we are practically sure to win the next battle ( especially if the tanks come). With these tanks will be news from Paris and the US hopefully we will learn that those Yankees will join the war and help exterminate the central powers. If this happens I think I will be home for next Christmas to celebrate with all my family. All in all I hope you are proud of me and that you believe in this cause

Love and Kisses

John

Typical Teenager Problems

A Typical Teenager Issue: Homework Load

  1. An example of a typical teenager issue is that they have too much homework load. This means that the child has to sleep late and is always tired or in a bad mood because he lacks sleep. Also having too much homework limits the teen in doing various activities such as sports, dance or musical instruments. Also having too much homework induces extra stress on the child because he is always worried if he will be able to complete all the homework assigned.

  2. A solution proposed is that the student should use his or her free periods or other free times to get as much homework done ad possible. So that when the child gets home he does not have such a big homework load. Furthermore, sometimes teachers give us class time (usually when you have a quiz or test) to complete some of the assignments.

  3. Unfortunately this solution does not always wrok because not everyone has free period. Also some the homework assigned cannot be completed in school they either require internet (computer in library are rarely free) or for you to ask your parents or some of the websites blocked by the school (youtube).

  4. What I think is a good solution is to plan and organize yourself and seperate the homework load throughout one week. for on Mondays of B week we always complete the Histor and French assignment leaving math for your tuesday free period (if you have one). On the Tuesdays of B week we complete our Arabic and English homework and so on. All in all, in my opinion when dealing with homework organization is key.
